Gen Curtis LeMay, Assistant Secretary Hugh Milton II, Secretary Wilber Brucker
General Curtis E. LeMay, Vice Chief of Staff, United States Air Force, presented a display of the recently established Air Force Distinguished Marskmanship Badges to Secretary of the Army, the Honorable Wilber M. Brucker. The ceremony took place in the Secretary's office. General LeMay instituted the Air Force Marksmanship Training and Competitive Program last year. Secretary Brucker gave the disply of badges to the Assistant Secretary of the Army, the Honorable Hugh M. Milton II, President of the National Board for the Promotion of Rifle ractice. The NBPRP serves all military service and civilian shooting organizations and is administered by the Army. The Air Force Distinguished Marskmanship Badges will be permanently displayed in the offices of the NBPRP, with other military service and civilian Distinguished Marksmanship Badges.
