How I got started shooting

Both of my parents shot skeet when I was growing up. I went to pilot training at Sheppard AFB in 1984 and the base skeet range was just across the street from my squadron building so I just had to try it. Got hooked, so when I showed up at my first operational assignment at Nellis AFB NV, I shot my first registered targets 1987. Shot for about 4 years on and off then quit until 2006 when I picked it up again to bond with my son who has turned out to be far better than I at skeet.
