How I got started shooting

I started shooting Trap in High School in California. Following my enlistment in the Air Force I was introduced to Skeet shooting by Capt Michael Jackson in 1988. I learned about the shooting program from a former Air Force Skeet Team member Major Phil Roberts. I shot my first U.S. Open in 1992 and my first Armed Forces shoot in 1993. The AF skeet team has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and I have met some of the finest people in the world because of it.
